The treatment concepts for patients in Neurology aim to improve or reinstate physical abilities, quality of life, self-responsibility and prognosis. Our therapy concept takes into consideration the recommendations of the Deutschen Gesellschaft für Neurologie/Neurologische Rehabilitation (German Association for Neurology/Neurological Rehabilitation) and the quality standards laid down there.
The treatment plans for patients in Neurology comply with the Reha-Therapiestandard der Deutschen Rentenversicherung Bund (Rehab-Therapy Standard of the German Pension Insurance Association). An essential component for improving the prognosis is the implementation of guideline-orientated pharmacotherapy with an individual dosage adjustment. This medicinal therapy is orientated to the recommendations of the relevant expert associations – in particular the Deutschen Schlaganfallgesellschaft (German Stroke Association) and the Deutschen Gesellschaft für Neurologie/ Neurologische Rehabilitation.
Based on the existing illness, we create an individual therapy plan for you from our wide spectrum of effective treatment methods. Through an active contribution to the treatment, you work towards the objective of regaining your physical and mental equilibrium, learning to understand your illness and improving your capabilities.
The doctors and therapists of our clinic are continually involved in professional further training. They work according to recognised methods with the utilisation of modern equipment and therapeutic resources: as a result, we are one of the few clinics in Germany working with a newly developed hand-arm robot, which amongst other things, is used in the therapy of stroke patients. Doctors, therapists, psychologists and social workers check the effectiveness of the therapy in regular team meetings, and supplement and change this depending on the progression of the treatment.
