Speech therapy

Speech therapy

Speech therapy measures primarily aim to reduce speaking difficulties, speech disorders and dysphonia in order to reinstate or improve communicative skills impaired by your illness. If you suffer from dysphagia (difficulty swallowing) we will work with you to rectify this in order ensure the safe consumption of food again.

Relatives can be integrated as a “co-therapist” into the speech therapy, for example with swallow patients, in order to motivate and support them and help them find out about special risks when consuming food.
